  • Kim Cavallaro Kim Cavallaro Non-Executive Director Ms Cavallaro is an experienced corporate & commercial lawyer, company secretary and director, with 25 years' experience in the legal, engineering, resources and infrastructure sectors. She is motivated to help organisations achieve sustainable business objectives to preserve shareholder value and deliver positive impact for people and planet. Ms Cavallaro was formerly a corporate lawyer with top-tier Australian and international law firms, and a regional general counsel at two multi-national engineering consultancies. She holds legal, governance, climate literacy and sustainable business strategy qualifications and is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.     Concurrently CEO of MRead Pty Ltd, MagnaTerra's sister technology venture developing field-ready sensors for explosive and drug detection, he has spent the past several years bridging the gap between battlefield-proven operational intelligence and commercial sensing innovation. Before founding MRead, he served as Executive Director at Synergy Group, managing complex, multi-million dollar programmes in the Australian Defence sector.<br />
    His military career spanned three decades of operational command across NATO and Coalition forces, including deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, and Kosovo. He led the British Non-Combatant Evacuation Operation in Lebanon in 2006, coordinating a multi-agency response under live threat conditions from Headquarters British Forces Cyprus, precisely the kind of high-stakes, zero-margin environment that forged his approach to risk, innovation, and decisive leadership.<br />
    He has worked across the Middle East, South Asia, and the Indo-Pacific with governments, NGOs, and primary aid agencies in Jordan, India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Thailand, developing the cross-cultural partnership skills and operational adaptability that now underpin MagnaTerra's international growth strategy.<br />
    What distinguishes his leadership is not simply what he has done, but how he thinks. Trained in design thinking, strategic risk integration, and unconventional problem-solving, he is the kind of leader who finds the signal in the noise and builds teams capable of acting on it.<br />

  • Nick Cutmore Nick Cutmore Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer Nick is a passionate advocate of mission-directed R&D, accelerated commercialisation and industry impact. His career-long experience in innovation has focussed on developing disruptive and unique technologies with global application and collaborating with industry to translate these into successful commercial products. His work in these areas has been recognised in the award of the Australia Prize (Prime Ministerial award), the Prime Ministers Prize for Innovation, the CSIRO Chair's Medal, the CSIRO Medal for Research Achievement, and the Eureka Prize in Support of Defence and National Security, and he is an elected Fellow of the Academy of Technology and Engineering. Having overseen the CSIRO development of MR based technologies for two decades, he is excited to be now involved in their application into demining and security. Read more

He oversees NextOre’s global financial operations and supports the executive team in driving growth. His expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border operations has been instrumental in advancing the company's financial strategy. Previously, Robert held senior roles at Health House, where he led the company’s reverse listing on the ASX and successful acquisition. A Chartered Accountant, he holds an MSc in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces from Imperial College London and a BSc in Mathematical Physics from the University of Edinburgh. Read more
  • Shivika Singh Shivika Singh Chief Operating Officer Shivika has been instrumental in driving the company's technological advancements and innovation strategies. As Chief Operating Officer, she oversees the development and integration of cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency and productivity for clients in the mining sector. Prior to her role at MagnaTerra, Shivika served as COO at NextOre and as the Technology Integration Manager at CSIRO, where she led the commercialisation of critical Magnetic Resonance and X-ray technologies within the Sensing and Sorting program. With over 12 years of expertise spanning business strategy, project management, product development, and engineering, Shivika has a proven track record of bringing novel technologies and processes to market. Shivika holds an MBA in Strategy from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Her professional journey also includes extensive experience managing projects for advanced technologies in iron and steel plants, further highlighting her versatile and impactful contributions to industrial innovation.
